WaNtEd TO do SoMeThInG different with my hair for my first day of work on the NEW JOB! So, I did two-strand braids and I'm just gonna rock this style for the rest of the week. I've been monitoring how the products have been affecting my type 4A hair. Seems like the Hair Mayonnaise dries my hair out, but I'm uncertain if it is the Leave-In Conditioner or not...I'll have to use them seperately and see what happens.
check these out.
These last two pics are of two two-strand braids that I refer to as a the nicer version of slave braids. Hey, to each his own right. BUT, these styles are pretty simple and are both protective styles.
lol,I no exactly what you mean by the nicer version of the slave braids. umh. I normally say something along those lines too. The style looks very pretty on you tho, and so does the other one. I typically wear smaller braids or twists when I style my hair but your hair looks so nice I was thinkin bout doin my own like it. thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteoh, and let me tell you, the hair mayonaise,u might as well leave it alone. It is not goin to help ur hair. Trust,I have been natural all my life and that stuff is not good for our hair. Yes,Ive got that thick 4b type hair too. Try some cocunut oil for conditioning and moisturizing. It works wonders.
LOL. thanks for understanding my lingo an not judging me. SEE, i knew something was up with the hair mayonnaise. But how cheap am i if i use it until its finished...sigh guess the better option would to give it to someone else. But def glad u sd something about it. So i'm def not alone about how this product treats hair of our type.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the moisturizing tips. I do use oils, but i haven't tried coconut oil yet though.
yeah, I understand.lol. dont bother using the hair mayonaise up tho. If it damages ur hair its not worth it. The cost of taking care of your damaged hair will be even more. And if you know its not good for your hair, dont give it away.It might damamge that persons hair too. Just chalk it up. We live and we learn. At least now you know
DeleteSIGH...:-( ok. I haven't used it since. I didn't know what to do it with. Calling all naturalistas. If you want some hair mayonnaise because it works well in ur hair, let me know, i have a full jar left.
