Naturalista Travels (Part 3)

The big finale!

The final installation of posts re: my vacation is here. It's been about a month or so since returning from my vacation and I still want to go back.

I made a few videos of the trip that I probably wouldn't be able to share, but I have pictures, so do not be to disappointed. This trip back to Geneva included a tour of the historical part of the city. It was so interesting to hear about the city. Have you ever fallen in love with something just from hearing it's story? I was already in love before I got there and the story just filled in all the missing pieces. I hope to see much more- preferably the non-touristy parts and truly live off the land like a countryman. Sounds like a great dream.
Having a hotel room provided us with free public transportation passes. While the public transportation system is ran on an honor system, there are times where police will hop on the bus and ask for your ID and transportation card. Don't get caught without one. You will be escorted off and led to purchase a card. So, don't embarrass yourself.

Things I would have done differently on this leg:

* Hotel room was a decent size and near a bus stop, however, the hotel was undergoing construction so the day or so we spent in the hotel room was noisy. Not sure how I could have avoided that exactly, but i would have preferred a room in the downtown area if i could afford it.
* Ordered the lasagna or the ravioli off the menu from Pont-du-jour! Restaurant came recommended and forgot the names of the dishes that came recommended. FAILURE! LOL - there's always next time.

That's about it. Until my next adventure, my traveling posts are finito for now, but I'm living for the next vacation.
